If anyone wishes to change their service provider,they need to contact the required service provider and submit an application along with portability fee of rupees 19 ,and in three days your service provider will get changed.

This will increase competition.Service providers will have to get innovative and improve their customer service to retain.


WHAT IS THE DISADVANTAGE?
For caller tune and GPRS you have to register again.
once you have the change the service, you cannot again shift to another service for the next 90 days.
