Madras eye is due to the viral infection of the conjunctiva and it will resolve with in three days after taking proper medicines. Now new strain of Adeno virus which causes madras eye is spreading in Tamilnadu.This type infection will take one to two weeks to settle.So every patient should consult the eye specialist,and take proper medication.
