It has been discovered that members of Arya Vysya Community are allergic to the drug used in Anaesthesia.The drug is called suxamethonium known as SCOLINE, which is used as muscle relaxant in anaesthesia.During administration of Anaesthesia ,Scoline should lose its effect after a while and the patient should be able contract the joints.The enjyme called as scoline esterase is deficient or absent in arya vysya community due to genetic effect.The absence of enjyme produces serious side effects during anaesthesia. Patients are remain paralysed and unable to breath even after surgery is complete,because they cannot regain their muscle function quickly .So every patient should inform the surgeon and anaesthetist about their community before surgery.

ReplyDeletein PADMANABHANAGAR, lives old aged couple AJJI(76) & THATA(80+), point of concern is that they are left orphan at this age now all they need is shelter and care, on behalf of HAC we have tried our best to comfort them, but being students we are not able to make them more comfortable.
now they feel they don't want to burden anyone, they want to step into "OLDAGE HOME". Their last wish of life is to enter old age home where they can find people of their own caste ( ARYA VYSHYA)(TELUGU SHETTY) .
So guys, all i beg you is "DO the NEEDFUL" to your grandparents, that is find some old age home which is maintained by ARYA VYSHYAS! so that they can REST their rest of life peacefully.
ESPECIALLY ARYA VYSHYA friends, i request you to talk to your parents regarding this pls
