TATKAL is a sanskrit word meaning "INSTANT" It will be Mandatory for Tatkal rail ticket passengers to carry original identity proof from Feb.11. A passenger with Tatkal ticket will have to carry any one of the eight documents.

4.Driving licence
5.State or central govt ID
6.Student ID from college or university
7.Bank pass book with photo
8.Credit card with photo.
