A petrol pump near your home could raise your cancer risk, a new study has warned.Researchers in Spain who carried out the study, found that buildings within 100 meters radius of petrol pumps are exposed to potentially harmful cancer causing chemical called as benzene.The study shows that distance of 50 meters should be maintained between petrol stations and housing, and 100 meters should be maintained for hospitals and schools.
